Let us make you smile and say mmmmmmm...
Hey Ya'll my name is Jason Geane owner & chef of SSBBQ.
Smoking Soul BBQ was hatched over a decade ago after a couple of years learning the way of the smoke. Here in the Northeast we have fairly average BBQ, slathered with sauce, and all tasting about the same.
I was just sick of that…
I have been cooking at my Grandma’s knee since I was a boy. About 20 years ago I got very interested in BBQ and bought my first smoker. I played around for a couple of years and got the hang of it. People started to ask me to bring this or that to parties. This went on for a few more years and before you know it I was catering small parties.
I wanted something different in my BBQ so I worked the next years on creating my own methods, rubs, sauces, wood mix, and standard recipes. I call it Latin Caribbean Soul food. These are most of the heavy influences in cooking in my life rolled into one concept centered on a classic slow and low BBQ approach.
Late 2015 Smoking Soul BBQ was formed and clients loved my approach to BBQ. I do not get into the argument are you KC, Carolina, Texas, Memphis, blah blah blah… What I am is great food prepared from my soul to your table. I do not care about trophies and 10 burly guys judging my smoke rings. You will not see me in competitions. My client’s smiles and referrals are what matter to me.
I am passionate about what I do, the quality & service I give my clients, and making you satisfied.
Let me bring our soul to your table and make your party a success!!!
The least expensive option in our line up. We bring the food to you hot and ready or cold with heating instructions. You make the call and you will look like a superstar as you pass most of it off as something you cooked!
Another cost effective option but a bit more in price. We show up with food hot and ready, set your buffet line up with all the equipment, and give you any instructions. We leave, you enjoy yourself, and then we come the next day and pick our things up. Just leave it at the back door and we do the rest.
We show up with food hot and ready, set your buffet line up with all the equipment, set up anything you need us to do for the party. Staff is there the entire time to assist, clean up, and make the experience for your guests. You enjoy yourself, we clean up, break down and leave with all equipment that night.
Sometimes you just don't want to do anything but point... This is most expensive option in our line up. We will meet for an initial consultation to get an idea of your vision for your event. Our second meeting will be to bring your vision to life after you review the initial plan we set up. We will set a framework, budget, and procure all items for your event. The day before or early that day will will come and decorate and prepare your venue for you event. We show up with food hot and ready, set your buffet line up with all the equipment, set up anything you need us to do for the party. Staff is there the entire time to assist, clean up, and make the experience for your guests. You enjoy yourself, we clean up, break down and leave with all equipment that night.
